GLÜHLAMPENMUSIK is an audio-visual performance which sounds are created by using various light bulbs and switching elements. The changes in light intensity, the glow of the filaments and the rhythmic diversity of the flickering and pulsating lights are immediately translated into a rich, electro-acoustic world of sound.

Unique Piece or Mass Product?
Which form is understood as modern? What are the characteristics of handmade unique pieces and industrial mass products? The exhibition uses selected objects and documents to illustrate the struggle of the Werkbund and Bauhaus for a concept of modern design in the early 20th century.
