Berlin is launching an admission-free Museum Sunday:
Starting July 4, 2021, we - together with almost all Berlin museums - invite you to visit museums free of charge on the first Sunday of every month and offer a rich and diverse program.
An overview of all participating museums and the single events can be found here.
Time-slot tickets can be purchased here.
An initiative of the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Europe, made possible by the State of Berlin and the Bundesbeauftragte für Kultur und Medien.
Seldom is the cupboard actually bare! We all keep a mishmash of cups and mugs in our kitchen cupboards, each with a different story to tell. Maybe one was brought back from a trip as a souvenir, one used to belong to grandma, and another was a lucky find at the flea market.
The museum’s collection also holds countless cups. They are made of different materials and come from different times; they have been loved, used, given away, or repaired. And they all had unique journeys to the museum. Some of these adventures have left their traces on the cups, while others remain out of sight.
Only on Museum Sundays can visitors discover exciting, informative, and funny stories about the cups from the museum’s collection in the permanent exhibition.
Drop by anytime or book your tickets at museumssonntag.berlin.
